Christmas Liturgy

Here is another song we are singing for the liturgy so if you could practice this at home as well that would be fantastic!

Here are the words for the song
Pohutukawa Christmas Tree

Don’t want a Christmas that’s knee deep in snow
That’s a Christmas that I’ll never know
Just give me sunshine and the tuis call

Don’t want to spend my Christmas all wrapped up in wool
I want to spend my Christmas by the pool
And,   I want a Po hu tu kawa Christmas tree

I want a barbie on the beach
With the family and,   maybe a game of touch rugby
And then a walk through the bush or do some fishing for tea

I want to tell tall tales around sunset
It’s as kiwi as it gets
And I want a Po hu tu kawa Christmas tree

I want a Pohutukawa Christmas Tree
Don’t have to cut it down just let it grown free
And I want a Po hu tu kawa Christmas tree
I want a Pohutukawa Christmas tree

Don’t want a Christmas that’s knee deep in snow
That’s a Christmas that I’ll never know
Just give me sunshine and the tuis call

Don’t want to spend my Christmas all wrapped up in wool
I want to spend my Christmas by the pool
And,   I want a Po hu tu kawa Christmas tree
I want a Pohutukawa Christmas tree
